Alice has worked for Ciena since 2018 as Senior Consultant in the Global Submarine Sales team.  She started her career in submarine systems as a design engineer at STC Submarine Systems on the historic Greenwich site in the UK.
Alice has been heavily involved in SubOptic for the last four conference cycles, as Papers Chair in 2013, Programme Chair in 2016 and on the Organising Committee representing Ciena as host in 2019.  In 2019 she was elected to the Executive Committee of the SubOptic Association and is on the Organising Committee for the 2023 conference.
