Bevan Slattery is Founder and Owner of SODA, a hub for innovation, digital infrastructure and environmental
sustainability. SODA supports and invests in some of Australia’s most transformative businesses. Its current
infrastructure portfolio includes SUBCO, an independent specialist submarine cable development group
which recently launched the $300m Oman Australia Cable (OAC) that
spans 10,000km to connect Perth, Australia to Muscat, Oman, providing greater diversity and resiliency
to Australia’s internet. SUBCO is also a consortium member of the Indigo undersea cable offering diverse
network solutions between Sydney and Singapore. HyperOne is another of SODA’s key investments, which is
set to become Australia’s first hyperscale national fibre network – our new digital highway.
Having founded some of Australia’s leading digital infrastructure companies including PIPE Networks,
NEXTDC, Megaport, Superloop and SubPartners, as well as a record five companies on the Australian Stock
Exchange, Mr Slattery is recognised as one of Australia’s leading entrepreneurs.
