François-Xavier Abrial, head of Marine business development at Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN) has been involved in the planning, engineering, implementation and commissioning of undersea cable system projects worldwide since late 1990s. Mr Abrial holds a MS from Georgia Tech Institute/ Electrical Engineering and a DEA in Plasma/Opto-electronics from Université de Lorraine.
