Jo is a Technical Program Manager at Google and was the technical and commercial lead for the recently
deployed Equiano Submarine System in West Africa.
She has worked in the submarine cable industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Google, she held positions at
Lumen, Level 3, Cable & Wireless and BT working in offshore operations, system architecture and engineering,
and program management.
Jo holds B.Eng and MSc. in Optical Communications from University of Kent at Canterbury.
