Jol Paling is the CEO and founder of SubSea Networks Ltd., a subsea consulting company specialising in
new build submarine cable projects. Jol has previously held executive and engineering positions in BT, STC,
Alcatel Submarine Networks, Global Crossing and Level(3), before setting up SubSea Networks in 2013. He
leverages 34 years of experience in developing and operating submarine cable systems. Jol is a Chartered
Engineer and holds an MSc in Telecommunications.
