Katherine Edwards works for Vodafone as a Senior SubSea Investment Manager.
She is a chartered engineer, having started her career developing a computer controlled test system for Pirelli cables to automate transmission loss measurements for their fibre. She then worked as a satellite engineer commissioning 13m earth stations across the globe then represented Cable & Wireless during the privatisation of Intelsat and Inmarsat. She moved back to submarine cables at the time of TAT14 and then was the project director for Apollo and ran the C&W submarine systems engineering department. Now at Vodafone she looks after subsea investments in Africa.
