Maurizio joined Makai in 2014 as a Physicist in the Subsea Cable Software group. He attended Rutgers University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics.

Maurizio supports the technical aspects of Makai's software development, as well as the product’s business development and marketing efforts. Maurizio is the lead quality assurance engineer of Makai's subsea cable software; responsible for testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and product development. He also provides Makai’s clients with offshore installation support, simulation analysis, training, and customer support. Maurizio has become an expert in subsea cable installation, having supported clients on numerous installations around the world.
