SMD is the market leader, and a proudly independent design and manufacturing authority, for subsea vehicles in submarine telecoms, offshore wind, oil & gas, survey and mineral extraction markets.

Paul joined SMD in 1994 after completing engineering degrees at Newcastle & Bath Universities.

Paul has been integral to the development of many of the subsea machines since the mid-1990s. He has held a number of roles at SMD including Engineer, Project Manager, Account Manager, Managing Director and now Deputy CEO (Sales & Marketing). He is responsible for the external marketing, sales and customer experience.
