Simone Donadello, Researcher, Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica

Simone Donadello was born in Mantova, Italy, in 1987. He received the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2012 and 2016, respectively, discussing an experimental thesis on quantum systems and ultracold atomic gases. He joined Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2017, working on industrial laser applications, optical process monitoring, and low-coherence interferometry. Since 2020 he has been a Researcher at INRIM, the Italian Institute of Metrological Research, in Torino, Italy. His current research interests include optical fiber sensing, interferometry with ultrastable lasers, quantum communication, and embedded systems for optical metrology.
