Dr. Tommy Geisler, is Lead Engineer at OFS Fitel Denmark ApS.
He has a PhD degree from the Technical University of Denmark. He has worked at OFS for more than 23 years and has been responsible for both the development and production of various transmission, submarine, dispersion compensating and other special fibers. Currently he is product responsible for the OFS Terawave® SCUBA submarine fiber product-line. This includes both the development and production of ultra-low loss fibers for the terrestrial and submarine market. He is also managing projects related to new generations of submarine fibers.
